Land Rover Defender 2 button replacement remote key fob

The Land Rover Defender key fob will need programming to your vehicle with specialist equipment. Programming can be done by Remote Key Ltd free, if you bring your vehicle to us or you send your alarm immobiliser ECU control box.

Alternatively a Land Rover garage can carry out the procedure.

If your key fob has failed you still have the EKA code facility.

If you live in the West Midlands we can come to you and fit a new key fob (call out fees apply)

Alternatively, you can send your key fob to us and we can recondition it (no programming required). See key fob reconditioning.

Send us your Land Rover Defender alarm/immobiliser ECU to us and we will programme a new key fob to it. We will send it back within 24 hours and you can plug the ECU back in and it will work straight away.

Accepted methods of payment

Important Notes

  1. When sending the ECU control box include a return address and a daytime phone number.
  2. Call us as soon as you have sent your ECU with your credit/debit card details of payment.
  3. Alternatively, send a postal order with your ECU for the amount shown above.
  4. We will only return ECU's by insured postage.
  5. Cheques will be accepted but a 2 week clearance time will be required
  6. Please only send immobiliser ECU control box's by special delivery at the post office.
  7. Please send all ECU's to: Remote Key Ltd
  8. The alarm must be the original Land Rover factory fitted system and must be still operational.
  9. We are not able to supply a new keyfob by copying the existing one.
  10. We will also provide you with your EKA code when we carry out this work.
