Renault Clio Immobiliser bypass

Renault Clio 2001 to 2007 the aerial for the radio is at the back of the car this is a MK 2 phase 2 Renault Clio

This device will bypass the immobiliser system on all Renault Clio's from 2001 to 2007

The red immobiliser light must flash when starting is attempted, please watch the videos below

!!IF THE RED IMMOBILISER LIGHT STAYS ON CONSTANT THE BYPASS WILL NOT WORK!!

 

This Renault Clio immbiliser bypass will work if your key has failed lost or the key reader has failed.

The bypass will only work if the Red immobiliser light on the dashboard flashes fast when attempting to start the car, the car will not turn over. If the car has stopped while the engine was running this device will not work, this is not the immobiliser causing the car to stop while it is running

You need some mechanical knowledge to fit this device, you need a T15 torqx screwdriver and a small flat screwdriver.

Remove the ashtray

A small socket is under the ashtray, remove the cover

The yellow part is the socket, plug the bypass on to this socket

The wire from the bypass needs to be plugged in to the key reader

The key reader is the black round part round the area the ignition key is inserted

Pull the plug from the key reader

The wire from the bypass will push in to this plug

Car is ready to start

The ashtray and steering column covers can now be replaced

The Red immobiliser light will still flash as normal, when the car is started the light will go out.

The remote control central locking will carry on working as normal, if it was working (this bypass will NOT repair the remote central locking)

Any key that fits the ignition will start the car, this can be a plain key with no electronics.

The bypass will not change any settings on the vehicle, this will not affect the central door locking, erase any keys or programme keys, the bypass can be removed and no changes will be made to your vehcle

The bypass will NOT work if any ECU (electronic control box) has been changed, a new engine has been put in, the bypass will NOT programme new ECU's keys repair broken wires blown fuses or flat batterys
