Remote Key Ltd. are able to supply new key fobs for all Rover 800 vehicles that use radio key fobs (as fitted to vehicles 1995/1996 onwards). Unfortunately we are unable to supply new key fobs for Rover 800 vehicles fitted with an infrared key fob.

All key fobs are brand new and come with a 12 month guarantee. To programme this type of key fob will need specialist equipment.

The alarm ECU control box is easily removed. Check the Rover alarm/immobiliser ECU page to identify the Rover 800 alarm ECU box

When the alarm ECU control box is removed you will not be able to drive your vehicle.

This control box ECU is located on the drivers side dashboard, furthest right possable, it has a metal bracket facing towards you, one 10mm brass coloured nut has to be removed.

  3. When sending the ECU control box include a return address and a daytime phone number.
  4. You can call WE ARE NOW CLOSED OPEN ON MONDAY AUGUST 2nd and pay by phone
  5. Alternatively, send a postal order with your ECU for the amount shown above.
  6. We will only return ECU's by insured postage
  7. Cheques will NOT be accepted.

  9. The alarm / immobiliser must be the original Rover factory fitted system
  10. We are not able to supply a new keyfob by copying the existing one.

N.B.
Rover 800 remote key fobs are sometimes reffered to as Rover 800 plips, Rover 800 zappers, remotes, remote plips or remote zappers.
All of these common phrases can be used to describe a Rover 800 remote key fob.
