Single Button - 1990 to 1994
If the single button Rover Mini remote key fob is damaged or no longer works, it will need to be replaced (with the key fob shown on the right).
- The key fob works exactly the same as the original.
- The key fob will install in exactly the same way as the original, full fitting instructions are included with all key fobs.
- The installation is a DIY procedure which can be carried out at home with no tools required.
- A help line for all customers is available.
- The key fobs have been engineered to meet original equipment quality standards.
- All Key fobs come with a 12 month guarantee.
- The key fob will work together with the old type key fobs on the same vehicle.
- Each key fob has a unique code, and due to the rolling code system keys cannot be copied or cloned.

Twin Button - 1994 to 1998
This Rover Mini twin button key fob will need programming to your vehicle with specialist equipment
If your key fob has failed you do NOT have the EKA code facility.
We cannot supply a new key fob by copying your existing key fob!

- Remove your alarm immobiliser ECU control box and send it to us (box is shown below) We can programme a new key fob to your ECU and we will send it back usually within 24 to 48 hours. You plug the ECU back in and drive again. Call us for details on the location of your ECU control box.
- Alternatively, you can send your key fob to us and we can recondition it (see our reconditioning page)
This is the immobiliser box we require, yours may have different label markings, the box is located behind the dashboard on the passenger side.

All of these common phrases can be used to describe a Rover Mini remote key fob.
