Key Fob Reconditioning

We are able to offer a reconditioning service for the LUCAS key fob, (which can be identified by a number on the back of the key fob) numbers 3TXA, 3TXB, 3TXC, 3TXD and 17TN. !!PLEASE NOT ROVER 800 or 600!!
The key fob reconditioning process
Our key fob reconditioning includes:
- New plastic casing (original MG Rover)
- New rubber buttons (original MG Rover)
- New battery
- New splash proof buttons
- New transmitting crystal
We remove the battery holder, clean the whole circuit board and resolder every joint. We then replace the buttons with a brand new set, replace the transmitting crystal with a new one, supply a new battery and put the reconditioned circuit board into a new casing with new rubber buttons.
NO tools and NO programming is required to your vehicle.
Send us your old worn key fob even if it is not working, we will rebuild it and send it back, ready to use, just like new!

Put your key fob with a note into a jiffy bag and take it to a Post Office, (WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING SPECIAL DELIVERY) once you have done this make payment as shown below
Please remember to include your address and phone number.
Once you have sent your key fob, Pay online with your credit/debit card, Paypal anytime or include a postal order for £40.84 payable to Remote Key Ltd, Sorry we do not accept cheques.
We adopt a "No repair - No charge" *return postal costs will be charged*
All work is normally carried out within 24 to 48hrs

- We strongly advise the use of a insured delivery service (recorded or special delivery Royal Mail) when sending your key fob through the post
- We take care of the return post, your returned key fob will require a signature, we can send to alternative address if required
