Does this key work?

What if the key does not work?
We give a 14 day money back guarantee, if you are not happy in anyway send the key back for a full refund (we cannot return the postage costs) we have worked on this system for many years we know the faults and the problems so if the key does not work we can usually find out why.
My friend says “you can get a new key press the buttons a few times and it will programme in the new key the my Discovery 2”
This is why we send a programmer, pressing the buttons a few times will not programme in the new key to your Discovery 2
I have read on the internet you can programme in new Discovery 2 keys with the EKA (emergency key access code)
You CANNOT programme in new keys with the emergency key access code, this is why we send you a programmer with the key to programme it to your Discovery
I cannot find my Discovery 2 EKA (emergency key access) code number.
Take your V5 log book to a Land Rover main dealer and ask for the number; most main Land Rover dealers will help if you ask nicely and you are the legal owner of the vehicle
Land Rover have supplied me the EKA (emergency key access) code but it contains letters?
Your EKA (emergency key access) code will be 4 numbers if Land Rover has supplied you with letters in the code this is Hexadecimal or hex code, this is how you work it out:
A=10 B=11 C=12 D=13 E=14 F=15
If you have an EKA code of A-4-E-6 your EKA code is 10-4-14-6
My local locksmith does not want to cut the new key.
We will cut the key totally FREE if you supply us a key to copy from or a ignition key number.
I have purchased a Land Rover key from the internet can you programme it?
We get this every day sorry NO we cannot, don’t waste your money.
I have had an “expert” look at the car and they think it is the immobiliser causing the car not to start? Will your key repair this?
Our new key is exactly what is says it will NOT repair faulty parts on your car including the immobiliser, a real expert will know what is causing the fault and repair it.
Your key looks slightly different to my original Land Rover key
Our keys are not original Land Rover keys, our keys are made by us in the UK the the highest quality, our key works in exactly the same way as the original Land Rover product, we CANNOT show a Land Rover logo on our key.
