Key Fob Reconditioning

Key fob reconditioning is one of the services that Remote Key ltd. specialise in.

• Is your key fob worn, broken or letting you down?

We are able to offer a reconditioning service for the Lucas key fob, (which can be identified by a number on the back of the key fob) numbers 3TXA, 3TXB, 3TXC, 3TXD and 17TN.

The key fob reconditioning process

Our key fob reconditioning includes:

• New plastic casing
• New rubber buttons
• New battery
• New splah proof buttons
• New transmitting crystal

We remove the battery holder, clean the whole circuit board and resolder every joint. We then replace the buttons with a brand new set, replace the transmitting crystal with a new one, fit a new battery and put the reconditioned circuit board into a new casing with new rubber buttons.

NO tools and NO programming is required to your vehicle.

Send us your old worn key fob even if it is not working, we will rebuild it and send it back, ready to use, just like new!

Once you have sent your key fob, call us 0121 308 0819 and make payment over the phone by credit/debit card, or include a postal order for £39.00, payable to Remote Key Ltd.

We will not take any money from your credit/debit card until the work is complete.
Please do not send cheques.

ALL PRIVATE DETAILS ARE DESTROYED ONCE USED. WE DO NOT PASS ON YOUR DETAILS TO OTHER COMPANIES

We adopt a "No repair - No charge" policy. If we are not able to repair your key fob, we will send it back, free of charge.

Most key fobs will be repaired within 24 hours, and we guarantee no longer than 48 hours.
